发布时间:2021-09-22 阅读人数:

To all overseas students:

You should complete course registration or exemption by following “Guide to the system of Graduate School for International Students of 2021”. Scan the QR code to download the guide.

You had better use Google Chrome to translate the website.

1.      Ensure that you could not register the courses until you finish making study plan in system.

2.      Course Registration

(1)    The system for course registration and alternation will be opened twice

The first one is from Sept 22nd to Sept 30th.

The second one is from Oct. 11th to 17th.

(2)    You must finish course registration or alternation before the deadline.

(3)     Students of Grade 2021:

Students of Grade 2021 refer to the students who were admitted in 2021 or prior to that but register in 2021.

Contact your supervisor, make the study plan according to the requirement of program and register courses.

Ensure registering all the training parts in the first semester.

When you complete one session and submit materials to the coordinator of your own school, you will get the credit of the session.

(4)    Students of Grade 2020 or prior to that:

Because all programs have been updated and most courses in the old programs have been cancelled or changed, if you want to register some public or professional courses, you should firstly check the courses in the new program in system (refer to Item 6 in the Guide), make clear which courses are provided this semester, select them into your study plan by selecting the courses from “foreign professional course selection” and then register them.

If you want to register training sessions such as “Academic Report”, you had better ask the coordinator whether the old one is provided. If not, you just need to submit to the coordinator your reports with the result given by supervisor

If you still do not know how to register course, you can download the attached form “Application Form for Course Registration” and fill in course information. E-mail it to pyb@swjtu.edu.cn and some staff will help you to register.

P.S.:you should make sure the courses are provided this semester and course code and name can be checked in the system

3.      Attending classes: you can find the e-mail of the course lecturer in the module “My time table” and contact the lecturer for the way and the time of attending classes.

4.      Course Exemption:

The system for Public Course Exemption will open from Sept 22nd to 28th.

Do not register the public course that needs to be exempted. You just need to select the course into your study plan in system.

Because all programs have been updated and the public courses take new codes, the students, whose study plan includes the public courses with old codes, should first cancel them. And then select the public courses with new codes into the study plan by selecting the courses in “foreign professional course selection” module.

After the deadline our Graduate School will remind course teachers to approve exemption on line. At the end of October, you can check the result in the module “My Transcript”.

If you have any question about course registration or exemption, you can contact us by e-mail: pyb@swjtu.edu.cn or come to our office (Room 229 of the Building of Administration in Xipu Campus).

P.S.

1. Time of classes in the system is not the actual time of classes. You should contact course lecturer by e-mail for the time and way of classes.

2. The attached are “Application Form for Course Registration” and the courses provided this semester.
