To International Students,
In accordance with Implementation Measures for Innovation Practices of Academic Degree Graduate Students at Southwest Jiaotong University (Trial Document) and Implementation Measures for Innovation Practices of Professional Degree Graduate Students at Southwest Jiaotong University (Trial Document), the recruitment for on-campus innovative practice of graduate students for the Fall Semester 2026 is hereby launched.

2. Application Procedure
(1) Timeline for Application and Admission

Nov. 4 – Nov. 13 | Supervisors/Supervisor Teams submit projects into the system. |
Nov. 14 – Nov.20 | Student apply for innovation practice |
Nov.21 – Nov. 30 | Supervisors/Supervisor Teams admit students. |
(2) Application Procedure
Students log in via the entry on the Graduate School homepage → Practice Management → Innovative Practice Management → Application for Supervisor-led Innovative Practice → Select a suitable project (each student may apply for only one project). Remember to click Submit after completing the application.
3. Admission and Practice Arrangement
1. After submitting the application for the supervisor-led practice project, students shall contact their on-campus supervisor to complete review and appointment in the system. Students may check the admission result in the system once the selection process concludes.
2. All supervisors/supervisor teams must finish the review, selection and admission in the system by November 25.
3. The on-campus innovative practice of Fall Semester will commence on December 1, 2026. Supervisors shall provide practice guidance based on the actual conditions of respective projects. The schedule for final defense of practice projects will be announced separately.
